Inspired by the traditional Japanese ceramic technique called hakeme, this collection brings together the beauty of porcelain with the functionality of stoneware. Our favorite stoneware body is brushed with white porcelain to create a whispy, ephemeral piece. With dramatic brush stokes and a clear glaze, these pieces use simplicity to evoke a serene beauty.
Featuring soft curves and an organic palette, these pieces embody the wabi philosophy that sometimes perfection is overrated. The wheel thrown form features slight variations in each piece, reminding you that it's the subtle dips and variations on the seemingly perfect surface that makes the piece all the more real.
Each pot has a small drainage hole. Being fully glazed inside and outside, these planters are great for both indoor and outdoor use. Dimensions are approximately 5”x6”.
